Fans waited during the “Ang Katiwala” premiere wanting to catch a glimpse of Dennis Trillo. Director Aloy Adlawan assembled the cast and crew in front of the full Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo Theater at the CCP without the lead star. Torrential rains and traffic held up Dennis. He was able to reach the gala after the movie had started.

Filmmaker Aloy Adlawan took the opportunity to thank a lot of the people and companies that helped produce the film, “Direk Mike Tuviera saved the production apart from Big Top. Si Mr. Tony Tuviera he gave us what we need for the rest of our shoot. I want to thank sir Jojo O’Connor. ATP group and Imaginary friends kung di sa inyo di namin matatapos yung pelikula.”

When he did show up after the credits rolled Dennis thanked the fans and said he was happy to know and honor Pres. Manuel L. Quezon through the film. His steady girlfriend Bianca King was on hand to show her support for her beau.  As soon as Dennis got down the stage, fans mobbed him for photos. And he couldn’t deny the moviegoers who patiently waited for him to make an appearance. The CCP ushers had to tell the fans to stop the picture taking.
